About Dave Blundell

Dave gives leadership to the organization with the Board of Directors and through the Senior Leadership Team. His main responsibilities include: vision champion, partnership development, resource development, staff leadership and development, motivating, and representing the organization.

Dave Blundell graduated from Canadian Bible College (now AUC) in 1994 with a Bachelor of Theology and Trinity Western University in 2010 with Master of Arts in International Leadership. He served as a pastor in a Christian & Missionary Alliance church for six years and was ordained in 1998. Dave later served as the Director of Global Operations for Global Aid Network, leading relief and development projects in numerous countries around the world. In 2003, Dave founded Hungry For Life International, where he works as the Executive Director of a growing team of staff and volunteers. Dave also teaches as adjunct faculty in the B.A. Leadership program at Trinity Western University. Dave has published two books, Hungry For Life: A Vision for the Church that Would Transform the World, and Professionally Religious: The Spiritual Poverty of Spiritual Leaders.

Dave was married to Heidi in 1997 and has two children, Caleb (b. 1998) and Abby (b. 1999). In addition to serving and leading at HFL, Dave loves to hang out with his family as well as read, write, and coach baseball. Dave and Heidi are also involved in leadership among a network of House Churches.
